For this project, I have created a poster and Invitation that promotes the Southampton Solent University Degree show. I have chosen to do this in the style of a well known meat mincer from the 1940/50's named 'Spong'.
The reason I have chosen to use a meat mincer as the theme of my poster and invitation, is because I have taken this from the metaphor of University working like a meat mincer. For example, both the mincer and University have requirements, these requirements then get processed to give a better outcome.
I find this theme bold and eye-catching. The idea creates entertainment that will attract a wider audience.
