Keebler "Social Media Newbies"

When you're trying to reach a new, younger generation of parents, your first instinct might not be to revive an old mascot. But why not when you have one as beloved as Ernie Keebler?
To relaunch Keebler on social media, we gave "elf-in-charge" Ernie Keebler his very own Facebook and Twitter accounts. Trouble was, Ernie had been so busy baking over the past many, MANY years that he had missed out on how to use the platforms. Luckily, he quickly found an audience all too happy to engage with him.
Ernie's First Facebook Post
Despite the account being dormant for years, Ernie hit over 70k likes in less time than it takes to bake a Fudge Stripe cookie.
Ernie's First Tweets
Ernie was the first animated character to try out Facebook Live, interacting with actual commenters in real-time to try and get his live feed back up again. He tried, he really did.
More posts from Ernie
Ernie even showed people around the Hollow Tree. Well, sort of. If only he would’ve known how to flip the camera.

All sorts of humans took notice of Ernie and his social media quest.
