Premier Futsal 2016

BACKGROUND :

Premier Futsal is a multi-national franchise conceptualised by some talented Indian entrepreneurs who commissioned DDB Mudra Group with their complete marketing responsibilities. Futsal a 5-a-side shorter variant of football with two halves of 20 minutes each, is governed by Futsal Association of India (FAI) with accreditation from the international governing body, Asociacion Mundial de Futsal (AMF). Each playing team consists of three international Futsal players, one international marquee football player and one Indian Futsal player. Premier Futsal, in association with FAI, conducted a talent hunt programme across eight cities called Launchpad to scout and select Indian players. The programme combed through 2500 participants per city to shortlist five regional players for each team. DDB Mudra Group commissioned ASB&D to come up with its complete brand identity system.

IDEA :

Futsal is a game of 5 brave hearts fighting as one giving their all for the glory. It's a game of 20 minutes of pure adrenaline, it's a game of hope, impulse, energy, excitement, respect, speed, accuracy, agility and creativity. So, we decided to capture the essence of the game through a splash of vibrant colours, kinetic and free flowing typography with a symbol that tells this story.

As we started developing the brand extensions, Futsal had become a story of how the legends came together to create history.

By now, most of the back end design work was done and it was time to introduce Premier Futsal to the world. That happened with the first legend coming on board as the president of the franchise.

Very soon it had an ambassador, India's young cricket legend Virat Kohli, who rapped for the Oscar winning music director and composer A. R. Rehman to create the anthem for Premier Futsal.
