Alongside my degree show commitments, I was also the team leader in designing the publicity material for the 2016 University of Chester Degree Show. Managing a small team and reporting to the head of the Art and Design Department on a regular basis, I was tasked with creating a logo for the degree show along with an invite card, poster and catalogue showcasing all of the student’s work. 

 

The title Collective was formed in order to represent all the art and design students in an equal manner, along with highlighting our motivations for pursuing a career in the art and design industry. In order to identify each course in the catalogue, I decided the tones selected should represent a colour spectrum (these were also applied on the logo). Regarding the catalogue pages, every student’s spread was prepared consistently, with the hues changing accordingly.
