Beton hala new water center with it’s unique design representvery modern and sophistic building structure in city of Belgrade. Whit uniqueform and not pronounced mass perfectly fits in the coast side of Belgrade cityand not impairs old Kalemegdan look. New structure characterized whit lightstructure based on semicircular shell which flows in existing construction likeriver Sava in Danube.
Design of new structure is based like concept of passableramps designed for pedestrians so that the surface where it is built doesn’tlose characteristics of park area in any segment, accessible to tourists andlocal community. New building Beton hala, locked from Sava, isn’t to prominentand dominant, but on a discreet way ina mile arc sties on a existed construction and makes unique fusion pleasant toeye.
Symbolically to place where it is building has specificorientation like a pylon,36 meters high which is like sail that goes in toheights. Beside of esthetic parameters tower represents a way of connection withKalemegdan by the lifts on his top and where you can get by the panoramicelevator.
The square which is under the tower represents peaceful oasisdesigned to visitors of aqua center I it goes on the surface 2800m² and it is in a commercial section of new building.

Situation plan
Under the square there is traffic node like a trafficroundabout organized around a pylon. Near a traffic roundabout there is covered parking for 50 buses, as well asclosed garage on 3 levels which has place for 700 vehicles. In the traficalnode there is also trolley carstation for trolley car that goes under the level of boulevard Vojvode Bojovica and goes through new buildingand exit’s intotraffic node under the square.
