La Palina Cigars
This project was allowed two graphic designers and two industrial designers to work together creating
a new look for La Palina Cigars. We created a design that combined the tradition of La Palina Cigars with a few contemporary ideas.
Our logo pays tribute to the original design, by taking the important elements and simplifying the design. We wanted to include some new design elements that were purposeful, and that is why we have chosen to incorporate shapes and colors from Ukrainian embroidery. Our design for the new cigar box uses rounded corners accented with die lines. In order to give the box a more modern feel, We chose do this through the use of a new material, bamboo.
