An old small book that I´ve randomly found in portuguese city Porto captured me in that moment so strong, that I decided to intervend in it in way of art.

So I spontaneously began to note the experiences from a few-months lasting stay in this city. The main informative value have feelings, or occurrences that happend in some moments, represented by set of drawings, text fragments and collages.

This autentic personal artefact mediates emotions of pleasure from colours, sun, ocean, city, traveling and love. In the other hand it mentions frustration, distress, alcoholism, problems with lack of monay and unability to succesfully asimilate with a surrounding.

The artpiece The steps doesn´t shows just steps left in the book by my own hands, but also those, that my surrounding leaves in myself.
