My design is based on diverse Filipino folk dances from Luzon, Visayas, to Mindanao showing the culture of the Filipinos through movement. It depicts not just their dance movement but also their particular costume or how they dress as well as the objects associated in each specific dance. The design may look simple, for each letter may look like children performing for their school event in the Linggo ng Wika , but each alphabet represents a culture as represented by the movement, costume and color scheme. Most of my design’s color scheme has a unifying color in their costume which is not too overly different from each other as a group when they are all together to bring about harmony in the design.
