Nebraska Appleseed Fundraising Art Prints
Nebraska Appleseed, a Nebraska non-profit advocacy organization, called upon leaders in the graphic design community during the summer of 2011 to envision how we can build a stronger Nebraska through greater equality, opportunity and justice for all.They partnered with Justin Kemerling of The Match Factory and Lincoln screen printer Jason Davis of Screen Ink to produce an art exhibition with a collection of posters to inspire Nebraskans to work together to create a more inclusive, more vibrant community.
These are two out of the eleven designs, which were editioned as 18" x 24" silk-screen prints, hand-signed and numbered. The poster series was designed to give voice to Appleseed’s core values of Community, Democracy, Equality, Justice and Opportunity.

A pair of posters promoting a guest workshop and guest lecture by Jim Sherraden from Hatch Show Print (Nashville, Tennessee). The workshop offered participants a chance to ink and print vintage blocks from the Hatch Show Print archives under Jim's guidance and was hosted by AIGA Nebraska in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Art and Art History. The guest talk was hosted by the Durham Museum in Omaha, Nebraska and sponsored in partnership with the museum and AIGA Nebraska.
