The 'Isle of Lewis' is a small island in the Outer Hebrides of West Scotland. I chose to utilise my island heritage to create a project that would celebrate the place’s unique qualities. Therefore, this project aims to showcase the ‘Isle of Lewis’. The life ring design is inspired by typefaces, colour palettes and shapes from the community. The islander’s were involved throughout the design process to create an authentic outcome.
