Typography | Chatter Mat
A collaborative project with Jatzek Rudzki of a public forum for verbal interaction - in a typographic environment.
This project explores the theme of visual illusion, inspired by M.c. Escher.
A 360 x 60 cm 3D project on the wall, 216 open cubes cut and folded to make the model. Placed inside, are black and white letters in black and white boxes, respectively, creating an illusion of presence of the letters, urging the viewer to approach and look to spell out the sentence, by Escher:
"Are you really sure that a floor can't also be a ceiling?"
