This project is part of an ongoing series of illustrations I'm making based on the true stories of animals that are in urgent need of adoption. I contacted Animal Shelters and Animal Protection/Rescue Associations and asked them to tell me their tales. I took their experience and transformed them into short, fable-like stories, keeping the same essence but with a fantasy twist. The objective is inviting people to help them, giving them a "Happy Ending" , either by adopting them or helping them through the associations. I built the images so they would tell part of the tale, even without text.
