Penn State World Campus is advertising on the exterior and interior of San Diego’s COASTER commuter train with 1.6 million riders per year.

 

The trains run 42 miles north to south stopping at eight stations:

- Oceanside Transit Center (near Camp Pendleton Marine base)

- Carlsbad Village

- Carlsbad Poinsettia

- Encinitas

- Solana Beach

- Sorrento Valley

- Old Town (San Diego)

- Santa Fe Depot (San Diego)

 

The trains travel along the I-5 freeway into downtown San Diego and is visible to I-5 traffic along route This campaign can effectively reach coastal communities with strict or limited signage ordinances (traveling billboard).

 

This campaign will build awareness & interest of prospective students to learn more about Penn State World Campus and increase site visits.
