GCM22 is designed initially using the classical French Didot style but with a contemporary ornate decorative twist. GCM22 is also based on the letterforms of typographers; John Pistilli, Herb Lubalin and Si Scott.
The ornate letterforms are based around the art of Turkish Ebru marbling, which is painting on water to create decorative patterns.
