The theme of the 2015 Virginia Aquarium annual report was "Bright Ideas & Bold Results." This was carried throughout the report from the amazing accomplishments of the staff, to the bold photography and infographics, to the fluorescent green ink that highlighted the pages. On select spreads, half-size fly sheets were used to provide key information in an unexpected way. The goal of this project was to make donors and Aquarium leaders want to pick up the report and not put it back down. The bright color draws the eye and the soft touch varnish on the cover makes you want to keep holding it in your hands. I was responsible for the planning, writing, design, and production of the report.
