This is a project to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the declaration by UNESCO of Cuenca as a city patrimony of the humanity. For the first time, Cruz Novillo uses his artist resources to make a design work, creating what he calls a "Diafragma heptafónico": a work of seven chromatic elements each of which has a musical note assigned.
Red, Do.
Orange, Re.
Yellow, Mi.
Green, Fa.
Blue, Sol.
Grey, La.
Magenta, Si.
The complete work consists on all the combinations with repetition of these seven elements: 823.543 different works, building a concert of 1.601-hour uninterrupted running (Cruz Novillo has a similar concert exposed in the Museum of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando). A work that is made of color, sound and time. Therefore, every citizen can have his own unique brand. Its implementation as a design work is being simultaneous to the exhibition, in the Auditorio de Cuenca, of the first 50 collage (unique pieces) of that huge amount of possible works.
