USE ME is a collection of objects made of porcelain. The main idea of this work is the question of usefulness in today’s society and its approach to design. In a collection of 10 different pieces I present my vision of how creative and productive thinking within the zone between useful and useless could be, and how objects with an indefinite function produce brilliant and creative ideas about the ways they could possibly be used. Not knowing what the exact purpose of an object is gives us space for thinking about it and finding new, creative and inspiring ideas. My inspiration for this project was the Memphis Group and the ingenious work of Ettore Sottsass.
