Think! Outside the Sphere
Think! Outside the Sphere is a campaign to get teenagers and young adults more interested and informed about space exploration. The idea for this campaign came from observations that young people are not only uninformed, but also misinformed about current space exploration and the benefits derived from related innovations. Young people shape our future, and their support for future exploration is instrumental to the development and survival of our planet.
The main components of this campaign include a website, a video production, and social media channels. I plan on spreading the information through social media, a viral marketing mechanism, which will lead young people to visit the web content. They will learn more about space exploration through gaming, multimedia, and other social media outlets. My hope is that this campaign will spark an interest in young people, and will serve as a starting point for discovery.
This is my senior thesis project to finish off my degree in graphic design at Grand Valley State University.
