This second phase differs from the original superflat flavour by adding shadows and highlights, as well as stronger colours and varied elements in the background. The first phase was about emotions and the inner world in which they dwell. These new works, while keeping in line with this, will include a wider and more complex narrative. The first of them (Heisenberg, below) mixes together concerns about the ability to clearly speak out one's heart, the integrity towards one's feelings and some not-so-unrelated mind wanderings about quantum physics - more specifically the uncertainty principle of Werner Heisenberg. All of this amidst a seemingly indifferent rain of golden neutrinos. The use of shiny bronze and golden materials invites the viewer to embrace a moving vantage point.
