Adobe Slate to AEM POC

The Adobe@Adobe Team put together a couple of proof-of-concept videos showing how both AEM, and AEM Mobile On-Demand services might benefit from the abiltity to receive content from additional publishing sources, such as a mobile content creation application like Adobe Slate. With the expasion of new content creation tools, particularly those that exist on mobile devices such as phones and tablets, it is useful to examine the potential of extending and re-using this content with the help of a content management solution like AEM, or even to more easily digitally publish new content to sources such as mobile applications or digital magazines.

In Part 1, Adobe@Adobe Team member Dylan DePass shows off a proof of concept that he developed that allows for publishing content from the Adobe Slate mobile application into AEM Mobile On-Demand Services (formerly DPS).  The purpose was to show how AEM Mobile ODS is able to integrate additional content creation sources, and quickly distribute that new content to applications or magazines with less hassle.
In Part 2, Mark Ellis demonstrates a proof of concept that was developed to show the possibility of publishing content from the Adobe Slate mobile application to an Adobe Experience Manager site.  The purpose of the demonstration was to show how mobile content creators such as those using Slate, might benefit from being able to extend their content back to an AEM powered website.
