Rayhaan Sabir is a YouTuber from the UK who focuses on live-stream gaming events and video game play-throughs. Ray has worked on another channel with over ninety thousands subscribers and was one of the Top 100 YouTubers in the UK. Now he wants to branch off and do his own thing. Bringing communities together through commentary on gaming events as well as comprehensive gaming play-throughs.

 

My task was to create the branding of his channel. The channel itself is called The Rayhaan Sabir Show, the name suggests a talk-show theme which fits the commentary style on top of live streaming events. Since Ray is the main presenter of the channel the mark associated has to match, so using his name as a base I explored some styles that is reminiscent of talk shows while still keeping the personality of Ray. Luckily his initials RS have a nice connection point on the bottom that I fused together to create a nice simple mark, and expanded it (seen below) to nicely frame the entire name. Since his channel is the called "THE Rayhaan Sabir SHOW" I had to add in the extra words as well.

The choice to keep all color out of the mark was intential, after exploring some different color combinations I found the black and white to be much more refined, simpler, and classy if I do say so myself.
