The brief was to create an illustration or a poster with a non human creature found in the campus which as a whole should show something related to Ahmedabad or Gujarat.
I chose a kite because of the Kite Festival or Makarsakranti which happens in Gujarat on 14 January anually. On this day thousands of birds die because of the kite lines swaying in the sky. So after a discussion with the faculty the decision was to make a Che Guevara inspired kite which is fighting with the kites and the word che was used as a pun. Che means 'its there' in Gujarati.
