Clearasil website — level-two compliant, but not dull

Clearasil Website: ‘The Magazine’
An Accessible (Yet Still Engaging) Website

PROBLEM
We needed to do a level-two compliant website for Clearasil. The problem is most of them were dull, dull, dull – and we needed to hook an easily bored teen demographic.

SOLVED
Teens don’t read… unless something interests them. So, we created an online magazine that could include long self-contained links, for example. This was important to make sure that our website was level-two compliant and could be read by blind teens, who use screen readers.

RESULTS
A level-two compliant website that was still fun – and that had lots of teens interacting and entering our competitions, both sighted and sight impaired.
