"Bee & Me" Exhibition Design

This was the second live brief I worked on in third year which was very valuable for getting a feel for things outside of my cosy studio space.

I decided to team up with the lovely David O'Mahony to design 18 informative panels for the Irish Beekeeping Federation of Ireland. We wanted to show the importance of bees by using quite classical typography and photography to fit in with the RDS Library where the exhibition is being held. We used very large images of honey bees across the panels as a way for the visitor to interact with them up close and personal. The project was very enjoyable as it dealt with such an important message rich in visual sources.

We managed to be short-listed into the final four which was also very rewarding.
