The first ad was for a power back up solution. In Kenya, electrical blackouts are a common occurence and Kenyans always take their frustrations out on the national power provider, who used to be called Kenya Power & Lighting Company, KPLC. The ad is a play on their acronym but also a promise that you can enjoy uninterrupted power supply. 

The second ad is for a water heating solution. Water heating is very expensive due to high electricity costs. Devices like the one in the pocket are even more expensive to use. But they're also recognisable to most Kenyans, who also recognise how ridiculous it is to use them if you're trying to save money. I was trying to communicate that water heating should not be a major factor in your budget.
