The Shins are an American Indie Rock band fronted by singer, songwriter, and guitarist James Mercer. The band was originally formed in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is now based out of Portland, Oregon. The upcoming tour will see James Mercer leading a lineup of Yuuki Matthews (bass), Jessica Dobson (guitar), Richard Swift (keyboards) and Joe Plummer (drums).
