Clip Serviette Holder
My entry to the 2011 Carrol Boyes Serviette Holder Competition. A simplistic yet functional play on the traditional serviette holder.
The holder works with a twin hinge system built into the metal bars. These hinges ensure that the top bars always rest horizontally upon the serviettes and that they remain horizontal when lifted. The natural weight of the steel is resisted by precise engineering of the hinges, meaning that the product operates smoothly even when the bar is released prematurely.
