Digital Pencil Illustration
A Selection of Pencil Drawings Digitally Colored Or Processed
Like many artists, designers, and illustrators, a pencil is an invaluable tool to me for creation and working out ideas. The advent of digital imaging has made simple pencil drawings even more versatile: if I really like a rough drawing and want to keep its sketchy qualities all I need is a scanner and a copy of Photoshop to preserve the authentic lines while adding color and polish to create a finished piece of art. Some of my favorite projects end up combining multiple different analog sources through Photoshop with digital color. Most of these below were student projects, except where noted.
