Milk Decoration is a three monthly french magazine about interior design, art and lifestyle and in occasion of the design fair Maison et Objet in Paris they asked us to design the wallpapers of their Milk Cafè.

We wanted to create a pattern that could tell the symbols of the design fair as well as the ones of the cafè, expressed through the playfulness that characterises both of us, we have handmade (no photoshop or 3D tricks!) a collection of surreal objects that were literally the mix of interior design objects and food.

The set includes: a vase made with wurstels, a pendant light covered with fried eggs, a comb incorporated in a fish, a mirror that shows a bologna slice instead of your reflection, badminton balls with lychees and the food/design shopping list continues.  We have then photographed the objects and harmoniously arranged them into two patterns.
