CYBERBUNNY CHARACTER DESIGN
These drawings show me experimenting into drawing a character twice to explore position and also colour. I did these pieces in 2014 and used pen and then photoshop on the last one to experiment with colour concepts.

These are some examples of the few ditially painted portraits I have done using Photoshop and a WACOM Intuos graphics tablet. They are the beginning of exploring digital painting which I am improving on at any gieven oppertunity. These three were done in 2014, in chronological order they are: bottom left, right, and top left.
COLOUR OBSERVATION AND EXPERIMENTATION

These two pieces are seperate but both show examples of use of colour. The first (left) shows an observational study of hidden colour on a textiles piece sitting on a mannequin. This was done september 2014.
The second piece shows colour experimentation and pattern experimentation with marker pens. I did this May 2015.
FINE LINER OBSERVATIONS
The are some fine liner observational drawings looking at different ways of shading. The first (top) shows an observation of Exeter cathedral and uses lines and thick and thin line techniques to show contrasting light and dark.
The second (bottom) shows an observation using crosshatching technique but looking at making up the shapes by drawing only the shades from within the lines of the shapes. no outlining, just the shadows.
I did both of these November 2014.
ACRYLIC PAINT EXPERIMENTATION
Both of these were done for my final major project 2015 and showed exploring different media, acrylic paint, and its use in colour. The first image (left) shows a painting of a cityscape using only one colour with the addition of white and black to change the lightness and darkness of the image.
The second image (right) is a colour experiemntation for one of my final concepts for my final piece and looks into complimentary colours and the effect they have.
SALIGIA & FURIOSA

The first image (left) is part of my current projects based around the theme of the seven deadly sins. It is a fine liner drawing of a ram's skull, as a possible logo/visual concept representing the devil as a ram. Drawn December 2015.
The second piece (right) was done as a piece of fan art after watching the film 'MAD MAX: FURY ROAD' Summer 2015. I used pencil for the portrait and then edited the piece using Photoshop.

This was my GCSE final piece, so the date would have been around june 2014, and was a piece inspired by one of my favourite illustrators 'Gabrielle Moreno' and his style. This piece is done using pencil and watercolour and originally made up of an A2 page and an A3 page. I have edited it on photoshop into three seperate sections and changed the hue and saturation to give it a different colour scheme.
PORTRAITURE WORK
This is a collection of portraiture work, some from observation some from scondary resources such as photos of the internet, dates between 2013-2015. Nearly all pencil and purely realistic, though some have the addition of imaginative developments of my own such as the top left image containign a sci-fi costume design of my own.
SELF IDENTITY-POSTCARD VARIATIONS
COSTUME DESIGN
These two sketchbook pages show my love for costume design. I considered fashion design as a career as I've always had a love for designing clothing and costumes. Here it shows both some character doodles (left) and some development into wokring on a specific area such as the headgear and hair styling (right). I enjoy coming up with interesting fashion and amazing looking outfits as I take inspiration from traditional clothing around the world and sci-fi movies and their costume deisgn. I did the page on the left in November 2015 and the page on the right in April 2015.
BUSINESS CARD CONCEPTS
These are two pages from my self identiy project done November 2015, involving creating an artist identiy for ourselves (logo, business card etc.). The first page (left) shows biro sketched of self portraits of myself showing the changes in how i look.
The second page shows business card ideas and developments. It shows my development process and the way I work.
This was a personal piece I did August 2015, inspired by one of my favourite animated films, 'Howl's moving castle' and a scene where the main character kiss. I made my own piece inspired by the idea that love is colourful and did a self portrait and portrait of my bf in a reinactment of the kiss from the film. I used pencil, pen and watercolour.
SOLDIERS OF THE SEA
This was my final piece for my UAL diploma in art and design. I drew the line portrait in pencil then pen on paper A2, then scanned and combined th eimages and edited aqnd coloured it using Photoshop. The piece was a visual for an imagined futuristic music festival called 'Soldiers of the Sea'. I did this June 2015.
FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN
This was my mock final piece for GCSE, so around early 2014, themed around the idea of conflict. I chose the fear of the unknown as a topic, looking at the fear of afterlife and what happens. My artist influence was a digital artist called Android Jones. The image is all in pencil, size A3. I took the image and scanned and edited it in Photoshop, placing a 'universe' overlay on top and a lens flare in one of the eyes.
