The assignment was to design a connection between the two cities Aalborg and Nørresundby currently separated by the water stretch Limfjorden. The bridge consists of a series of two triangles merging together creating an inner volume. It was designed through parametric design and considerations of structural stability. The inner volume contains a 200 bed hotel with conference facilities and a shopping/living street. At night the inner volume is lit up from within and stands as a massive glowing sculpture hovering over the fjord.(2009)
