Mobile Game Art/Design submission for MMO Mobile Game: BATTLE CAMP (PennyPop)
The following production art, and development work was prepared for mobile game company: PennyPop, makers of the well known MMO (puzzle and monster collection mobile game) Battle Camp. The first monster below is actually my final submission version (PennyPop supplied initial original rough color character thumbnail design). My role was to create the production art from rough concept. I supplied two versions: Version #1 was to emulate the current character illustration style and version #2 (what you see below) was based on how I would amplify the current level of art to the next level while still sticking to programming and animations needs.
The next parts of the test required me to illustrate multiple materials in vector format, for in-game world materials: Fire, Ice, Fur, Crystal, Water, Wood, and Chrome. All vector design are all built based on production/programming and animation's processes.
The final part of the submission was for me to design my own *Original Ultimate Monster that could possibly come from the Battle Camp universe. Ice-Wolf was designed with the games zodiac/environment/element/theme/ability in mind -- I even went beyond the request to show rough designs of the initial growth (evolve) cycles.
