Should we succumb to fear? Should we become populists? I urge UK to hide the broom and to give refugees shelter. I know it is scary, but was there going to be UK at all without all the migrant waves who washed it's shore: 

from the Roman period, the Anglo-saxons, Vikings and Normans mash-up, throught the Middle Ages to the 

African, Jewish and European migrations... and not to forget the 

the Asian, American and Commonwealth migrations.

Yes, it is frightening, but if mankind don't find a way, who will...
