dancing pattern experiment

The briefing for this academic project was to create a family of patterns exploring colors.

To create them, I wanted to explore the movement of dance to produce an interesting effect with repetitive elements.
I photographed the model in a series of movements. These are the original colors.
Using RAW photographs, I played with the color of the elements in order to create different visual effects
photos composing the pattern showing the movement
These patterns were thought to be applied especially in large public areas where passers by would have the impression that the pattern is moving. I also wanted to explore other color matching and the orientation of the photos
