With this series, my objective was to create digital visual elements in vector format that referenced traditional asian ink drawings. Each symbol exists in generous white space, and evokes the feel of sumi ink applied with a bamboo brush. The logo for the conference is based on stone chop stamps that served as the artist’s signature. The informative text reads in the order of asian languages, top to bottom, right to left, to strengthen the context for an English market.
