Raw Max : Vegan QS App

The App: “Raw Max” app is designed to help users transition into veganism and better their health, by recording all aspects of the user's, blood type, weight, cholesterol levels, diseases, and weekly food consumption. An app that will redefine user's health status quo through the transition of vegan/raw vegan lifestyle. The “Raw Max” app includes both the vegan progression for users and will also quantify the users by tracking their progress through different systematic options operated within the app.
Home Page : The homepage will be the first screen that will appear after clicking on the icon. The homepage includes four bar gateways. The top bar is the meal and recipe tab, directing the user to a wide array of meal options. The bar below is the health tab, allowing users to see their health direction on their transition into veganism. The following bar is the progress tab, recording the user's daily intake and their overall progression. The last bar is the goal tab, this is designed to keep the users engaged and motivated with new task every month to accomplish.
The Icon
Recepie Screen : The user can choose from, smoothies, salads, snacks, and dishes. Below the different meal option there are four icons. The first icon on the left hand corner is a heart, this allows users to save their favorite types of recipes to quickly refer back to it. The icon beside the heart is the list icon, this reminds the user what ingredients and produce that are needed to prepare the meals. The following icon is the calorie counter, the user will have a personalized recommended amount of calorie intake. The leaf icon will assist the user to consume an appropriate amount of calories. The final icon on the right hand corner is the information icon, assisting users on how to prepare meals.
Horizontal View : The app also has a horizontal feature, this is recommended when observing recipes to fully read the recipes clearly. The app will also suggest small portions of animals products as the user becomes more adjusted to vegan recipes.
Built in Alarm : The app has a timer that will go off at least 4 times a day to remind users to eat. This is essential for users because having a set time to eat will help the body adjust to new meal plans; and the body will know when it will be fed, ultimately helping the metabolism. In the health screen the app will track the daily amount of calories and water intake. When the first alarm is set off the user must record their first meal calorie count. The app will remind the user how much calorie must be consumed throughout the day.
Calorie & Water Consumption : The same will go for water consumption, it is essential to drink a lot of water throughout the day. The health tab will keep user in check by recording their eating and drinking activities.
Progress : The progress screen has four enlarged icons to select from. The first icon on the top left hand corner is the health checklist icon. This icon will indicate the user protein, calcium, and iron levels. This is important to check regularly as a new vegan because of the large population in western culture having a deficiency when improperly transitioning as a vegan. The icon on the top right hand corner is the calendar icon, this allows the user to trace back to anytime of the year from the day the app has been opened to review water intake, calories, etc. The icon on the lower left hand corner is the consumption chart, this will help regulate the user by implementing when consumptions was overloaded and under consumed. The icon on the lower right hand corner is the weight; while weight is not the main focus of the app it is important to track how much weight is being built on the body and to strain a healthy amount.
Goals : The goal screen is designed to help users remain motivated and passionate about becoming vegan. There are new task set in every month for users to achieve or overcome. For example running a mile twice a week and a certain set amount of cardio workouts. When the user fulfill the task the stars on the goal screen will turn blue and will unlock a special quote about good health and veganism. While the goal app is not mandatory for user to accomplish it will help motivate user towards a healthier lifestyle, the chart below the stars will show the overall progression as a healthy vegan.
