Summer Artist in Residence Program.
Bad Company is a board game, with an app component. Designers Scott Coffey and Kalai Davidson have been developing over the summer for Lipscomb’s Student Artist in Residence program. This is usually a program for studio artists to get paid for a personal studio practice, but as graphic design students, we have chosen to approach it as a design project.
This is a board game meant to entertain and be a good piece of design both visually and mechanically. While this is not strictly a ‘gallery piece’, Bad Company is a complex design undertaking, including card, board, package design, and app design. We are using this show as a way to demonstrate the game and show the process behind its creation.
