Stuller, Inc. is a jewelry manufacturer and distributor with 10 operations located on three continents. Stuller is the first to introduce JUST In TIME delivery of a wide range of products and services to jewelry professionals throughout the world. Stuller's core product categories include: bridal jewelry, finished jewelry, mountings, diamonds, gemstones, findings, metals, tools, supplies, customization, and educational events, programs, workshops and conferences.

While working in the in-house marketing division I implemented the creative development of several projects. As a lead designer I conceptualized, designed and produced an array of advertisements for industry trade magazines, customer direct mailers and customer flyers that drove the marketing and development of the company brand while promoting sales.

A great company resource is trade magazines. These magazines allow a company with a broad product base to advertise it's products and services to a specific targeted audience. The following is a few advertisements I designed to introduce new products, services and the corporate brand campaign while maintaing the corporate identity. Since trade magazines are a good source of educational information and networking opportunities, they are widely read across the industry, thus a guarantee to reach the maximum targeted audience allowing for the utmost opportunity to increase revenue.

Direct Mailers are a great way to reach your entire customer base with a single product, service or message. This particular direct mailer had dual purposes, to instill in our customers the new campaign "Behind every jeweler there's Stuller" while introducing customers to a service they may not have known was offered. One aspect of this new branding is the beauty of the a timeline format design. It gives the customer the ability to "walkthrough" the process and understand of the service being offered through short explanations. Thus allowing the information to make the customers great jewelers.

This direct mailer was the first of two pieces to launch a new merchandising solution that would revolutionize the way customers buy and interact with jewelry in the customer's store. For this single gate fold mailer, I used clean simple lines to highlight and accent the cover product and continued this design and product treatment throughout the inside spread. This mailer was an introduction and explanation of the program and how to become a member in stage one whose offering included a jewelry's company most profitable best selling merchandise, bridal engagement rings and sets. In stage two the program expanded their offerings to include popular finished and family jewelry.

This next project was for the launch of a new product line, a collection of beads and components that allows the wearer to create their own look and style from their personal life experiences. When the project started I was given the name of the collection and asked to come up with a tag line and design the logo that would be associated with the collection. When choosing the tagline, I considered the intent of the collection, to take one's most precious memories of life experiences and show them as what they are, a Life Treasured and thus a tagline was created. For the logo, I wanted a simple type treatment that would instill the essence of the product. I looked for a clean thin lined font with round curved features that would give the viewer the feeling of looking at a bead as such with the roundedness of the a in this particular font. The color teal was chosen to represent the earthly jewel tone fond in precious stones just as our memories are precious to each and everyone of us. For the tagline I choose a handwritten font to juxtapose the primary font and add visual intrest that would complement the bold roundness of the primary font but also give the feeling of a personal cherishment that the collect represents.

The next step in this project was to create the promotional material to introduce the product line to the customers. The format chosen for the piece was a standard tri-fold pamphlet. For the cover, I chose to create an image that would start on the front of the pamphlet and continue to wrap around the back giving a complete image when either folded or spread flat. Though the image took up the whole front and back panel, I wanted a complete cohesive look. The remaining four panels were then used to introduce the collection along with a preview of the initial collection offering accented with a marbling of the teal and gray colors from the logo.

The following projects are a compilation of a variety of product and service flyers. Flyers are a cost effective way to get information about products and services to customers in a fast convient way. For these flyers I created simple background treatments that would highlight and accentuate without overpowering the product and text.
