James McNeill Whistler. Nocturne: Blue and Gold—Southampton Water, 1872.
The Whistler "Nocturne" is a Painting in the Collection of The Art Institute of Chicago. One of my favorite pieces in the collection. The AIC is also Home to The School of The Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) my Alma Mater for the MFA in Photography I eventually earned in 1982.
In the Early Morning of July 27,2015 I made the exposure below. After viewing the image on my Cameras Monitor I thought of this Whistler and later that day in Photo Shop I manipulated the original capture to the Image below.
