For this project I was producing a graphic for a magazine article. The article is about the historical figure Daniel, found in the Bible. The idea was to convey a mood and establish a setting for the article. I also really strove to make the letters look apart of the scene. Through lighting techniques, and layers i was able to make a believable scene.
For this image I heavily relied on Photoshops 3D functions to make a believable scene. I created unique 3D textures to apply to the text and the floating sign. My goal was to better learn how Photoshop interacts with self created textures.
The goal of this project was to make the letters look as if they were actually apart of the scene. This was my first attempt at using Photoshops 3D tools, and it proved to be a very difficult task. The ground in this image is not totally flat, so I had to place each letter individually. I also layered some of the background image over the letters to help give the illusion that they are sitting in the leaves and behind sticks and trees.
The goal of this project was to create the illusion of depth without using the 3D tools available in Photoshop. Through the use of shadows and lighting I was able to create a fairly realistic depth of field in this image.
This image is apart of the same project shown above. The goal was to create realistic textures and lighting. Instead of rough metal surface,my purpose was to create a reflective andt transparent texture. The letters look as if they have an inlaid glass with a metal frame.
