A bit about the brief...
For this project which was completed as part of my University course we had to design two outcomes to help bring awareness to a cause/issue of our choice. I decided that the common issue of pollution was to be my awareness choice but instead of just creating a design that would just be ‘moaning’ I would use the opportunity to bring knowledge of Nuclear power being a possible and realistic solution for solving our CO2 emissions and drastically, that would suit our high and rising demand for power. I created three posters that would use statistcs sourced from BBC articles which would be displayed in a simple but effective way.
Ingredients
I decided to use Helvetica as the main typography piece. This typeface means a lot to the design world, with its origins and its presence in everyday culture. I tend to use photographs to colour my design or just one solid colour, thats why I decided to choose some high quality images that where themed around the quotes. I got these royalty free images from unsplash, check em out.
I finished this piece off with a small poetic piece to help get my point across but short and simple.
