On invitation of "gegenalltag" fashion gallery w?atf temporarily moved in the showroom at the Quartier 21/Electric Avenue. This was a very new experience to be guest at Vienna's Museum Quarter. The challenge was to immense into the world of contemporary art as a shop. Because of its surrounding we decided to focus on street wear and permanent live DJ sessions. Instead of products our only shopping window became the stage of our DJs. Live music was the best to offer in this area and draw the crowds to our shop. While listening to music people stayed there for a while and took their time to go through the assortment.
The sound sessions where hosted by Take A Break, a platform connecting DJs and music producers. DJs met each other at the shop for common sound sessions.
From 2008 to 2012 w?atf - what about the future has implemented several shop projects trying out some new and innovative ideas in the field of shopping experiences. Therefore w?atf opened the very first temporary showrooms and Pop-Up stores in Vienna.
