Although Sarajlić song on the separation of friends is created during the war and the cause of imposed separation is belonging in a particular group (ethnic and / or religious), loss of contact between friends is a universal issue that can identify every member of modern society. The different ways in which our lives lead, increasing demands that we are placed, the race for money and property, orientation towards themselves and new technologies - separates us from the people we consider friends and makes our lives much poorer and alienated.

However, Sarajevo - a city that has marked by many difficult moments - at the same time is the place of the merger, connectivity, reconciliation, reconstruction ... place annually reunites friends from the region and the world and celebrates the life and diversity. What better city that could mark as a meeting place for friends / colleagues / associates ... a place to connect.

Photographic presentation (Photo by Glenn Hartong): Jesna Kelečević (16) greets friend Sandra Đuric (15), meeting at the end of the bridge that connects Grbavica (then under Serbian control) with the rest of Sarajevo. Sandra's family escaped to Grbavica during the conflict.
