In January 2015 I started learning HTML4 and CSS2, and practised the principles as part of a school project. I designed my first ever portfolio website. I used stock images and subtle patterns, to start this design and learn how the web works, what the function of a <div> tag is and how to float elements. The website consists of four basic pages.

 

In November 2015, after learning HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery and Wordpress, I made a new portfolio website (check it out at www.carlinvz.co.za).
