Cloisonne enamel bracelet on sterling silver

The client was planning to make an order for this bracelet about 1,5 years. And it takes me to finalize it within 2 monthes. Sure, it is great to know that the customer`s way was so long. Th`ts why such jewelry is really preassures and valuable. Every enamel bead has the own, very personal symbol.
The first step I usually do in my enamelist work is making the draft - raw drawing - of the future jewelry.
Initially it is b/w. I use colored pencils or pastels or water colors to define future palette.
Making colour choise is important moment. Since that the jewelry has both fiuture shape and colour. That`s why I preffer to do several palette examples.
As this bracelet is custom order the client made his choice as to the proper palette. On that stage You can also learn something more about him(or her). Colour preferences is the intimate information about psycological conditions, background mood and inner activity. Necessary to be patient and silent to learn.
So, afrer choosing the proper palette, I moov to the next step. It is time for direct work with enamel.
When the last enamel layer is put the piece is already beautiful. But! the surface is still sharp.
That`s why the polishing is compulsory. As a result of it there will be smooth, bright and shiny enamel drawing.
The final result is seen only after all jeweler processes will be finished.
