Luminiscence of Little Things

All images have been clicked using a handmade pinhole camera. This was the first tester image that I took when I was working out the images for my concept.
The yellow pyramid is made out of paper and has been suspended using a thread, as have many other objects in this series.
It seemed like an unusual and ethereal way to take images, making it interesting to see and work for this project.
The Smoker
When somebody smokes it’s bad for their lungs, teeth, and overall health. But that tiny cigarette means much more than just that to a smoker. They’ve become so over time, that it helps them to relax in times of stress, it becomes a savior for them in times of trouble, helps them think through things and of course, it is a way of life for them, which is a defining factor for their identity as well.
The Child That Was
Children always seem so fascinated by all the plants, flowers, rocks and every other thing in the garden. Ever notice how such tiny, otherwise insignificant things to us can mean the world to a little kid, and excite him every day? They can find joy in anything and everything! We adults, on the other hand tend to get bored of these simple things eventually, and forget the joy that even the tiniest flower could bring us.
That dumbbell
My friend here is skinny, underweight, and unhealthy. He is poked at a lot for his physical attributes. He started going to the gym lately and eating healthy in order to be ‘fit & healthy’. The dumbbell right there is a means to his way of a ‘healthy body’. It will help him not only achieve a healthy figure, but also stop people who poke fun at him from saying anything to him and also boost his self-confidence and overall personality eventually. It will make his life a lot better. That dumbbell.
The Invisible Thinking Chair
I’ve seen what difference a bench can make, which is otherwise a non existent object in our lives. To a person who’s been running for a while, a bench becomes the most heavenly thing to relax on. It serves as a stage for people to talk, socialize, and ponder over things in their life. Afterall, it usually resides in silent, green spaces of our lives and yet, it may just be providing you with a platform to explore hidden parts of your mind, very silently.
This Idol Is My Idol
Who is God to a devotee? His entire world, his beliefs, someone he puts his entire faith and trust in. God takes the shape of an idol for most. It is God to them. Even an idol so small means everything to them. Their world revolves around it. The idol is treated like a living body they worship, pray to. It is after all, the most tangible form of the great force that they can touch, feel and see, and relate to most.
