Activist is a social media platform allowing users to actually make a difference by supporting various causes by pledging to take action or donating through the site. With all the online social media networks that exist today, people have become 'clicktivists' sharing and liking causes on Facebook and other social media networks and feeling that this is showing sufficient support for causes. Activist allows users to actually get involved and take action.
