3D Modeling for a Design Proposal Using 3D Studio Max
20 Second Video Clip and Still Frame Images
Due to continual growth in 3D technology, the AutoDesk 3D Studio Max software was seen to be a valuable asset to the company, to award our clients with a deeper, visual understanding of a new design concept. Utilising previous experience and recent training within the 3D modelling package - 3D Studio Max Design - a 20 second animated 3D flyover was prepared for a recent proposal presentation, for a wind turbine facility. Implementing the use of both, AutoCAD and 3DS Max Design, a complex 3D model was produced of the current quay and additional quay facility. Realistic materials and textures were then applied to each entity, cameras and daylight systems were added, and additionally animation filters and enhancements were made. Finally, a fully high definition video animation was rendered to showcase the concept; this then completed the presentation to give a high impact, realistic visual of the design.
