The Bernina Express, which became in 2008 UNESCO world heritage, is one of the highest railways in the world, a true breath-taking Alpine experience. This exciting rail journey begins in Tirano (Italy) and ends in St. Moritz (Swiss).
The red train departs every hour from Tirano and St. Moritz. If you make no intermediate stops, the trip takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Along the way there are 21 intermediate stops.
