In 2015 the Aquarium launched their new Sea Adventures boat trips partnering with Rover Cruises.

The project consisted of a complete subbrand underneath of the Virginia Aquarium brand. I acted as creative director, overseeing 20+ Sea Adventures marketing projects for the launch. I created the style guide and designed the rack cards and boat graphic. Our graphic designer created the logo, on site signage, and roadside flags using illustrators from our staff illustrator.

Style Guide
With several on-site staff and off-site partners producing materials for the program, I created a comprehensive style guide that aligned with the Virginia Aquarium's overarching brand standards. We made color palettes and design elements acessible online to assure consistency between all parties.

Rack Cards
We wanted to create a rack card that could display information for both our Whales & Wildlife trips and the Dolphin Discoveries. I created a folded rack card that showcased one trip on each side with the centerfold information covering general information and tips.

Boat Wrap
The main goal of the boat wrap is to attract the attention of people on the beach. It was imperative that the text be readable from atleast 500 feet and provide an easy way for people to purchase tickets. An added challenge was fitting the text within certain structural elements of the boat. Although the decision process among staff was time consuming, it paid off. The guest services office received numerous inquiries during the summer from people who read the phone from from the beach.
